Iranian director Mohammad-Reza Yekani has finished shooting his latest short film ‘Lottery’ in the US.
Sponsored by the Iranian-based TSH Institute, the short is in the post-production phase with the soundtrack and music to be incorporated soon.
‘Lottery’ narrates the story of an Iranian couple who immigrates to the US through the Visa Lottery program. The film features their difficulties upon relocation to the US.
The main reason to make such a film is to depict the challenges and issues of families who opt to emigrate from Iran, Yekani was quoted by the media as saying.
Sepideh Samadi and Ashkan Golnazar are among the notable cast members of the short.
